Job Description

Applies broad technical knowledge in Systems Engineering and defines complex system architecture and requirements, essentially leading the system development. Specifically performs planning, analysis, design, integration and test of new ground and airborne Electronic Attack systems. This requires an understanding of customer missions and concepts of operation, and the ability to provide direction to our business capture teams, paralleling the overall business strategy of the company.

  • Requirements

  • BS in technical field plus 15 years Systems Engineering experience, or Masters and 13 years.
  • Relevant experience in Electronic Warfare/Radar/SIGINT technologies.
  • Background in RF/analog/digital design and verification.
  • Experience in assessing software and hardware compatibility and resolving conflicts between the two.
  • Active Secret or Top Secret clearance preferred.
  • Experience in Dynamic object-oriented requirement system (DOORS).
  • Proven ability to work with customers, creating new solutions that meet their requirements within acceptable cost parameters. This requires well developed communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven experience in supporting business strategy, proposals, and new business development efforts within the DoD acquisition process.
  • Experience creating Technical Roadmaps by developing functional specifications of the customer and coordinating activity between product development and the customer.
  • Experience assessing existing product lines to meet new customer needs, and making existing products better and more cost effective.
  • Responsible for documentation of requirements and standards.
  • Coordination of project management, production, design, QA/QC, test, and business development, while minimizing cost with optimum systems design. Supports all of the departments, which requires excellent interpersonal and teaming skills.
  • Must understand customer mission and concepts of operation within the field of threat analysis.
  • Experience developing departmental budgets.
  • Experience with Technical risk assessment methodologies.
