If you are a Manager of Rotating Equipment and Transformers or Steam Turbine Manager with experience with transformers and rotation equipment within coal-fired power stations, please read on!

What you'll be doing:

-This individual manages the group of senior engineers and engineers responsible for providing technical support for all aspects of the operation and maintenance of transformers and rotation equipment at a coal-fired power station.

Principal Duties/Responsibilities

- Serves as subject matter expert for steam turbines and generators
- Manage the group responsible for providing technical support, operating efficiency and reliability and safety to the power stations
- Manage projects and requests related to the above areas, to assure they are completed safely, on time, and within budget
- Assists in the development of plans, strategies and budgets
- Interfaces with other departments, vendors, consultants, governmental agencies and the public
- Manages and develops staff of engineers
- Maintains reasonable access for off-hours support of the stations and travels to those stations as needed.

Education/Training/Experience

- Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology required from ABET accredited school. Masters degree a plus
- PE certification a plus
- 10 years engineering and rotating equipment experience for power, petrochemical or similar heavy industry, including outage or shutdown experience
- Willing to travel to power stations in SW PA and Northern WV
- Experience with project controls, contract administration, planning
- Leadership skills
