Account Manager Account Manager - Skills Required - Account Management, ICP Certified, Healthcare Payer, Project Management, Operations,Sales, Budget/Financials, Presentations, MS Project, Visio, Travel up to 50% Account Manager Join a leading organization where you you will manage the communication and expectations of assigned healthcare payer accounts while working closely with the appropriate operations, sales and technical management to develop and implement sustainable solutions as part of ongoing account performance.
The Account Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining a relationship with the customer that will position our company to create high customer loyalty and grow the overall business relationship.
Successfully manage simultaneous accounts,ensuring continuity of contact
Monitor both operational performance and customer satisfaction for specified accounts as defined by the service-level agreements.
Take a proactive role in escalating customer issues to senior leadership.
Facilitate all senior level customer review meetings for assigned accounts; presentations, preparation and delivery of presentations as well as follow-up
Track account issues and action items (deliverables) through to resolution and report accordingly.
Coordinate account-level communication with operational management and client.
Manage account risks by identifying and managing appropriate mitigation actions.
Coordinate with project management, operations, and technical management to ensure deliverables
Provide standard reporting to senior leadership indicating the performance of each assigned account.
Maintain positive and engaging relationships with customers to better position our company for increased revenue opportunities.
Identify additional revenue opportunities; engage appropriate management and business development personnel to lead the pursuit process
Maintain familiarity with leading edge solutions and our company offerings to provide clients with additional value-added services
Identify client inefficiencies and/or operational inefficiencies and offer solutions to remediate them.
An ideal candidate will have:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
5+ years of relevant experience including operations, project management and/or sales experience including a strong knowledge of related industries
ICP certification a plus
Competency in MS Project, Excel, Word, Visio, and Powerpoint
Knowledge of financial management and budget management
Knowledge of network architecture and business processes; ability to quickly grasp business issues and propose technology and process based solutions
Strong problem solving and multi-tasking skills.
Strong interpersonal relationship management skills and the ability to influence customers demonstrated in previous roles
High level of professionalism.
Articulate; demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills
Must be able flexible to work evenings and weekends if needed.
Could be on call 24/7 for operational issues
Must be willing to travel at least 50%
