Job Description
As an employee of PNC Financial Services Group, you become part of an organization committed to customers, employees, investors, and the communities in which we do business. PNC is an established, growing and successful financial services company, with businesses organized around retail and commercial banking, asset management, and funds processing. Our branches are concentrated in thirteen states and the District of Columbia; additional offices are located nationwide and internationally. We are growing in size and through recent acquisitions have become the fifth largest bank by deposits in the US. We are also growing in reputation, as a leader in areas such as work/life family culture, "green" building design, frontier technology, and strong corporate social responsibility.
The PNC Bank Education Loan Center is one of the largest education loan providers in the United States. As a Education Lending Customer Service Consultant for our Consumer Lending Division you will interact with internal and external service partners to provide a complete range of financial products and services to help students and parents pay for college, graduate and post-graduate degrees, and continuing education programs. You will be based at PNC's Consumer Loan Center in the historic Strip District, where more than 700 other PNC Operations employees work in a team oriented atmosphere.
Your position will combine autonomy and strong support, as you use your experience to research and resolve borrowers problems and communicate results. Each week will follow a predictable rhythm. Every day, you'll draw upon your high level customer service skills as you interact with internal and external service partners troubleshooting borrowers issues and suggesting alternative solutions and services. All the while, you will work in a team setting with others doing the same work.
