As a Securities Compliance Manager, you will be joining PNC's Corporate Compliance organization. You'll be based in Pittsburgh, PA. Your position reports to a Senior Compliance Manager.
You will utilize your strong analytical reasoning, decision making and project management skills, as well as your knowledge of regulatory compliance in the securities and financial services industry, to direct the development, implementation and administration of general compliance programs for PNC's retail broker/dealer. You will use your interpersonal skills as you work in a cross-functional team environment and interact with specific lines of business and management to understand current and prospective practices, consider the impact of current and proposed regulatory standards and recommend control enhancements as necessary. Your ability to communicate effectively will aid you as you serve as a contact for regulatory compliance advice and support business management on key business initiatives by identifying compliance risks and providing risk management solutions. Your strong aptitude for coaching, developing and motivating will enable you to successfully oversee the administration of compliance personnel.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or 10 or more years of experience in retail broker/dealer compliance and/or regulatory field may be considered on a case by case basis in lieu of a degree.
- Thorough knowledge of retail broker/dealer compliance regulations and compliance monitoring techniques.
- FINRA Series 7 24 63 and 65 are strongly preferred.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently.
- Proven ability to perform highly complex compliance activities and analysis.
- Demonstrated sound business judgment.
- Highly developed leadership and project management skills.
- 1-3 years of managerial experience.
