Job Description

As a Business System Analyst you will formulate and define project requirements using systems analysis techniques. Your responsibilities will include conducting a needs analysis, process documentation and system testing as necessary. You will utilize your excellent communication and leadership skills as you interact with clients and service partners - both internally and externally coordinating the analysis, development and implementation of service requests and key business initiatives. You must be well organized as you will manage multiple tasks - and follow their progress to completion.
As an Business Analyst and a member of PNC's Information Technology organization of more than 1,100 professionals, you will be based in Pittsburgh, where you will partner with Finance, Finance technology, Loan operations, Accounting operations, and other Enterprise technolgy teams to support the loan accounting business initiatives. You will report to a (Application Systems Manager and/or Business Analyst Manager).
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
- At least 4 years of experience in Business Systems Analysis and System Testing Experience in the Financial Services industry is strongly preferred.
- Experience working with Finance Consumer and Commercial Lending is required.
- Prior experience related to Financial acquisitions and purchase accounting is desired.
- Bachelor's Degree preferably in Business or Technology is required.
- Ability to coordinate and integrate requirements and testing in a multi-application environment is required.
- Good business writing skills and the demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a team-based organization is a strongly preferred.
- A sound understanding of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and the testing life cycle and methodologies is required.
- Computer skills to include: Word Excel Powerpoint and Access.
